Ali Ahmed at Norwich City
Norwich City signed the Canadian winger in January to bolster their attacking options. He made an immediate impact at Carrow Road, recording four goals and three assists in 16 starts. Crucially, his ability to finish at the back post provided a vital threat for the side. Recently, the club confirmed that Ahmed faces a significant spell on the sidelines following a devastating ACL injury. Furthermore, he will likely miss most of the 2026/27 campaign during his rehabilitation period. You can follow his recovery progress via the Norwich City squad page updates.
Career Before Norwich City
Ahmed developed his professional game before moving to the Championship. He brings international experience as a Canadian national. Indeed, his arrival in England marked his first major move into European football. Scouts identified his natural left-wing ability as a key requirement for the squad. More information regarding his early professional path remains available on Wikipedia.
