Norwich City winger Musaba scored his first club goal with a curling strike to help secure a 3-1 away victory against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. The 25-year-old gave manager Philippe Clement the necessary wide threat to exploit the hosts on the counter. He repeatedly carried the ball from the flanks, establishing the tactical framework that delivered their first away victory of the season.
European Experience Elevates Tactical Approach
The forward credits his recent Turkish stints with Samsunspor and Fenerbahce for improving his tactical discipline. He told The Pink Un that those competitive minutes expanded his profile beyond his previous Championship tenure. “I’ve experienced a lot last season. Played some European games. I made it in five months, from Samsunspor to Fenerbahce. I played again with some big players,” Musaba said. “So, also in terms of my development and my growth as a player, I’m a different player than I was at Sheffield Wednesday. I’m willing to give this version of me this season at Norwich City.”
Rotational Minutes Sustain Attacking Intensity
His finish from outside the penalty box arrived during the opening stages. “Top goal. Even me, I was surprised,” he added. The attacker logged 70 minutes before being replaced by Pape Amadou Diallo. This rotation on the flank provided sustained intensity out wide. A vital midfield boost elsewhere on the pitch further enabled this direct style. Norwich will look to consolidate this impressive form when they return to Carrow Road.
