Norwich City Confirm Academy Pre-Season Schedules

Norwich City have confirmed the academy pre-season schedules for their Under-21 and Under-18 sides ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

The club announced the update through its official channels, giving the next generation at Colney a clear route into the summer programme before competitive football resumes.

The confirmation matters because pre-season can quickly shift the conversation around academy players and first-team prospects.

Norwich have long sold supporters on a youth pathway that has produced senior names such as Max Aarons and Adam Idah. Every summer schedule becomes another chance for the next group to force attention.

Academy Fixtures Give Norwich Youngsters A Platform

The fixtures will allow Norwich’s Under-21 and Under-18 staff to test players across different age groups, manage minutes and identify who is ready to push beyond academy football.

The club said the schedules have been confirmed ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, according to the official Norwich City announcement.

For supporters, the key point is not just the list of dates. It is the timing.

With Philippe Clement shaping the first-team squad for another Championship season, academy form in July can still influence training numbers, loan calls and selection decisions once the senior calendar accelerates.

ReadNorwich has already looked at how Clement used a post-season training block to set physical standards, and this academy schedule now gives the pathway its own summer structure.

Norwich will now have a clear checkpoint for their young players.

That gives the club’s pathway story something concrete to build around before August.
