- Norwich City want to bolster their squad when the summer transfer window opens.
- The Canaries are looking to add more quality in the wide areas.
- A look at five right wingers who could suit what Norwich are looking for.
The summer transfer window officially opens for business next month and Norwich City look set to be active early on.
Signing a new right winger, per the Pink Un, is a priority for Ben Knapper and Philippe Clement, after the Canaries were left without a natural option in that position too often.
Harry Amass, Jack Stacey, Liam Gibbs, and Paris Maghoma are just a few of the players who had to play out of position on the right wing at times in the 2025/26 campaign.
Now, here are five players who could be signed by the Yellows this summer to fill that spot on the right flank.
Andreas Skov Olsen
Football Insider recently reported that Rangers will not be activating their ยฃ8m option to sign Andreas Skov Olsen from Wolfsburg on a permanent deal at the end of his loan spell at Ibrox.
Considering that and the fact that Wolfsburg could be relegated from the Bundesliga this weekend, there could be an opportunity for Norwich to swoop in for a bargain this summer.
Knapper is no stranger to signing Danish stars for the Canaries and Skov Olsen previously showcased his quality at Club Brugge, scoring 49 goals and providing 30 assists in 124 matches.
Clement prefers to have a left-footed player on the right if possible, which is another reason why Skov Olsen could be an interesting target for the club.
Elijah Just
Continuing the theme of left-footed playmakers, Motherwell magician Elijah Just could be a fantastic addition to Clement’s squad as a versatile option.
The New Zealand international has been a star for former Norwich defender Jens Berthel Askou in the Scottish Premiership this season, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists in 34 games.
Just is a technically brilliant player who likes to combine with teammates and play quick attacking football, which makes him a perfect fit for Clement’s 4-2-3-1 formation, particularly as he can play any of the three positions behind the striker.
The 26-year-old talent has created 11 ‘big chances’ in the Premiership heading into the final game of the season, whilst no Norwich player created more than ten in the Championship.
Fares Ghedjemis
It had been reported that Norwich made an offer of ยฃ7.8m to sign Frosinone winger Fares Ghedjemis last month, but the Pink Un shut down that part of the story.
In one of the Pink Un’s morning newsletters, Connor Southwell clarified that the Algerian “is not thought to be an active pursuit at this stage, but a winger is among the players they’ve assessed heading into the summer.”
This means that the left-footed right winger has been looked at by the club, so a summer move is not completely off the cards.
Ghedjemis scored 15 goals and created 11 ‘big chances’ in the Serie B this season, showing that he can provide regular quality as both a scorer and a creator of goals.
Amario Cozier-Duberry
A permanent deal seems more likely than a loan signing for this position, but there are already plenty of fans clamouring for Amario Cozier-Duberry to be brought in on loan from Brighton.
The 20-year-old starlet grabbed eight goals and ten assists in League One on loan at Bolton in the 2025/26 campaign, and scored against Bradford in the first leg of their play-off semi-final.
Brighton, though, may want to see how he does in pre-season before making a decision on his future, and Clement and Norwich may not want to wait if they view a right wing signing as a ‘priority’.
Andres Martin
This is the most ambitious name on the list, but it was recently suggested that Norwich are looking at the Spanish market for potential signings.
The Canaries hit the jackpot with Emi Buendia after he scored six goals and provided 12 assists in LaLiga 2 with Cultural Leonesa in the 2017/18 campaign.
Andres Martin has scored 20 goals and created 20 ‘big chances’ for Racing in LaLiga 2 this season, and they are currently on course to earn promotion to LaLiga.
It would be a big ask to convince him to make the move to the Championship, but Norwich were also ambitious when they appointed Clement and wanted to sign Kasper Hogh from Bodo/Glimt in January.
Norwich could pull off a huge coup if they can secure a deal for the left-footed winger, who is in the prime years of his career at 26.
