City look to make it four wins in a row in the Sky Bet Championship as they host Preston North End at Carrow Road tomorrow afternoon.
The Canaries go into the game off the back of Wednesday night’s 2-1 comeback victory over Sheffield United, courtesy of goals from Jack Stacey and Amankwah Forson.
That result made it three consecutive victories for City – their eighth in their last 10 league games – which puts them top of the form table with 24 points from a possible 30.
What further emphasises just how well they have played as of late is that 10 games ago, Saturday’s opponents were 19 points ahead of them. That gap is now just one point, and the Canaries have a game in hand over PNE.
As for Preston, they head to Carrow Road having slid away from the playoff places. They have had a terrible 2026 so far, having not won any of their last six league games.
Their midweek defeat by Coventry City was their fourth in that spell, and their third in a row. The Lilywhites have also won just once since January 4th, when, at the time, they were fourth in the table.

Freddie’s betting prediction
As the odds show, the bookies are finding it an easy one to call, but maybe part of this is in relation to Preston’s terrible start to the year and their slump down the league table.
For me, given the Canaries’ current winning run (eight in ten), the value is in the 8/11 for the home win.
It’s worth noting, though, that the Canaries haven’t drawn a game since December 20, which makes the 16/5 look quite appealing. Clement’s men will, at some point, draw another game. Despite PNE’s poor form, maybe this is the one!
