Norwich have reportedly made contact with Chelsea over a potential deal to sign Marc Guehi in the January transfer window.
As reported by The Pink’Un, Norwich are keen on a move for Guehi, along with fellow Premier League side Southampton.
The report claims that a number of Championship clubs are also circling, with Chelsea ready to send him out on loan for the second half of the campaign.
READ NORWICH VERDICT

Guehi has made two senior appearances for Chelsea this season, both in the League Cup, which suggests that Frank Lampard rates him highly. He would not throw him into the first-team if he did not think he was ready, and this seems to have caught Norwich’s attention.
There is no doubting that Norwich need a centre-back in January, with Christoph Zimmermann and Grant Hanley the only ones at the club without a long-term injury and question marks over Hanley’s ability at this level. However, Guehi is inexperienced and would be a huge gamble by the club – especially given how poor their defence has been this season.
Norwich have struggled from crosses and dealing with set-pieces, due to a lack of height in the side. Guehi is only 6ft tall, which is small for a centre-back, and this does not suggest that he would be the aerial presence Norwich desperately lack.
