Norwich City picked up their first points of the 2019/20 Premier League season on Saturday as they beat Newcastle 3-1 at Carrow Road.
Teemu Pukki scored a hat-trick for Norwich, with Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey pulling one back for the visitors in stoppage time as a consolation.
This came after Norwich were beaten comfortably by Liverpool on the opening day of the campaign, losing 4-1 to the European Champions at Anfield – with Pukki scoring his first of the season on the night.
The Canaries are now set to face Chelsea at home and West Ham away in the Premier League before the first international break of the year, with Daniel Farke surely hoping for some more points to take into September.
