These Celtic fans comment on Pukki following Newcastle hat-trick

Teemu Pukki scored his first hat-trick for Norwich as the Canaries beat Newcastle 3-1 at Carrow Road.

The Finland international has now scored four Premier League goals in two games and has taken his league total for the club to 33 in 45.

Following the game, these Celtic fans took to Twitter to comment on their former forward…

Mark wants him back!

£25m for Pukki?

Kevin also wants him back!

Eamonn is wondering where these performances were in Scotland!

One of Celtic’s worst ever strikers?

READ NORWICH VERDICT

Pukki played just 26 league games for Celtic, with many of them coming as a substitute, and scored seven goals, so it’s hard to imagine he is the worst striker they have ever had.

Regardless, he left Celtic over five years ago and has clearly developed and progressed as a player since his time in Scotland. Do not underestimate the difference five years can make in football. For example, the same year Pukki played for Celtic, Mo Salah scored four goals for Basel in the Swiss league – and he now has back-to-back Premier League Golden Boots to his name.

Norwich fans will now be hoping that Pukki can continue to show that he has the quality to score consistently at his level, to help the club avoid relegation from the top-flight.
