Webber joined Norwich in 2017 and helped lead the club to the Championship title last season.

This could be Norwich’s best bit of business of the summer, despite a host of new contracts for star players and five signings.
Webber has worked hard to bring in Ralf Fahrmann, Sam Byram, Patrick Roberts, Josip Drmic and Ibrahim Amadou since the club’s promotion was confirmed, and now he looks poised to commit his future to the Canaries.

He was also the mastermind behind bringing Daniel Farke to the club, as well as bargain signings Teemu Pukki, Emi Buendia, Tom Trybull and Christoph Zimmermann – just to name a few.
The former Huddersfield and Wolves man signing a new contract would be a massive statement of intent, given speculation that Manchester United were considering a move for him earlier this year.
If Norwich can keep hold of Webber, it will give them the best chance of thriving in the Premier League over the coming years – due to his excellent work in the transfer window during his time at Carrow Road so far.
