Stuart Webber’s time as Norwich City’s sporting director has almost been a fairy tale over the last two years.
The former Huddersfield chief joined Norwich towards the end of the 2016/17 campaign, with his first task being to appoint Daniel Farke as the club’s head coach.
Since then, he has helped build a Premier League squad on a limited transfer budget, whilst also making a profit on player sales and getting rid of the deadwood in the process.
Norwich won the Championship title last season, after being written off before the start of the campaign – even by their own fans, following a 14th-place finish in the league.
