EDP journalist Paddy Davitt has now cleared up the situation, claiming that Norwich have not received a fee for Oliveira – despite him having had a year left on his deal at Carrow Road.

Oliveira joined Norwich from Benfica in 2016 and was signed by Scottish boss Alex Neil.
He scored 15 goals in his first season, before netting eight in the 2017/18 campaign. The forward was then excluded from Norwich’s first-team squad as Daniel Farke led the club to the Championship title.
