Norwich City confirmed their third senior signing of the summer on Friday as they announced the arrival of Ralf Fahrmann on a season-long loan from Schalke.

Patrick Roberts, on loan from Manchester City, and Josip Drmic, on a free from Borussia Monchengladbach, had been Norwich’s only arrivals of the summer – with Fahrmann now joining them at the club.
The experienced German shot-stopper will spend the 2019/20 season on loan to Norwich, with no option to buy clause inserted into the deal. He also signed a new one-year contract extension with Schalke before completing the move.
He will now compete with Tim Krul for a starting place in the Premier League next season, following Norwich’s promotion to the top-flight after winning the Championship last term.
