Blackburn and Hibs enter the race to sign McCracken

Newly-promoted Norwich City will be looking to add to their squad this summer, but there could be some eye-catching departures at Carrow Road too.

Not only are Norwich wanting to buy new players, but reports on Football Insider are also suggesting that goalkeeper Jon McCracken could leave on a free transfer during the summer window.

A number of teams have expressed their interest in the goalkeeper, who hasn’t made a single appearance for Norwich’s first team yet.

The latest teams interested are Blackburn and Hibernian, who are both keeping tabs on the 19-year-old as they earmark potential new signings.

Although he hasn’t played for Norwich’s first team yet, McCracken has been part of the squad and travelled with the team on numerous occasions, while also continuing to impress at youth level.

This has caught the eye of both Blackburn Rovers and Hibernian, who will face competition from Premier League side Newcastle for his signature.
