Leeds and Aston Villa are reportedly fighting to sign Norwich transfer target Yoann Barbet.
Norwich have been heavily linked with Barbet in recent months, as the club now prepare for the Premier League next season.
Daniel Farke’s side secured promotion to the top-flight by winning the Championship title, finishing the campaign on 94 points – 11 clear of Leeds in third.
According to L’Equipe, via The Wales Online, Villa and Leeds are both battling to sign the defender, although the report has no mention of Norwich.
Barbet is available on a free transfer this summer after Brentford announced that he would be leaving the club – four years and over 100 appearances after joining.
The transfer window opened earlier this week and Norwich are yet to make their first signing of the summer, but Stuart Webber is sure to be hard at work as he looks to make the squad ready for Premier League football.
