Norwich City are one of a number of teams interested in signing Brentford defender Yoann Barbet in the summer.
According to French paper L’Equipe, Norwich are keen to sign Barbet when his contract at Brentford expires at the end of the season.
Barbet’s current deal with Brentford ends this summer and looks set to be available on a free transfer, despite impressing for the Bees in the Championship.
The 25-year-old centre-back has made 32 appearances in the Championship for Brentford this season, scoring once from defence.
L’Equipe report that Marseille, Wolves and Leeds, along with Norwich, are eager to tie him down for next season.
Barbet joined Brentford in 2015 and has made over 100 Championship appearances for the club in the past four years.
Along with being able to play at centre-back, Barbet has also been deployed as a left-back during his time in England – highlight his versatility.
