Man United and Arsenal preparing to scout Ben Godfrey

Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal will reportedly have scouts at Carrow Road on Sunday to look at highly-rated defender Ben Godfrey, the Mirror report.

The 21-year-old, who joined Norwich from York City back in 2016, has been a regular at the heart of the Canaries’ defence this season as Daniel Farke’s side push for promotion to the Premier League.

Godfrey, who is expected to receive an England under-21 international call up next month, has also attracted interest from Lyon and Red Bull Leipzig this season, however, the two giants of English football look set to step up their interest this weekend.

The £10million-rated defender has started the last 11 matches in all competitions and is expected to start at Carrow Road on Sunday, as Norwich host East Anglian rivals Ipswich Town.

Norwich have received large transfer fees over recent seasons for the likes of Jacob Murphy, Josh Murphy, James Maddison and Alex Pritchard, however, the Canaries are believed to have no intentions of selling Godfrey in the summer.
