Our man of the match: Sheffield Wednesday (A)
Norwich thumped Sheffield Wednesday 4-0 away from home on Saturday to place themselves top of the Championship table.
The Canaries might have been left to rue another missed penalty after the score was 0-0 at half-time – with Mario Vrancic missing from the spot in the 10th minute.
However, an excellent second-half showing secured the three points – with Teemu Pukki scoring twice, Emi Buendia netting for the second league match in-a-row and Dennis Srbeny slotting in his first Championship goal of the season.
Picking a man of the match has been hard, with so many exceptional performances across the park for Norwich.
Emi Buendia, Moritz Leitner, Tim Krul, Mario Vrancic and Christoph Zimmermann were all in with a shout.
But, our Norwich man of the match goes to… Teemu Pukki!
The Finnish international was starting his first game after three weeks out with a back injury and was sensational.
He worked the back four all afternoon and made countless intelligent runs to split the defence apart.
Both of his goals may have been simple, but his movement to get away from defenders and find the space wasn’t.
The forward is now on eight goals for the season and will be hoping to add to his tally against Millwall next weekend.
