Norwich City fired themselves to the top of the Championship on Saturday as they beat Sheffield Wednesday 4-0 away from home.
The Canaries might have been left to rue another missed penalty after the score was 0-0 at half-time – with Mario Vrancic missing from the spot in the 10th minute.
However, an excellent second-half showing secured the three points – with Teemu Pukki scoring twice, Emi Buendia netting for the second league match in-a-row and Dennis Srbeny slotting in his first Championship goal of the season.
Here is how we rated Norwich’s players…
Tim Krul: 8
Made some great saves throughout and was comfortable on the ball.
Max Aarons: 8
Bombed up and down the right and provided a superb assist for the third goal.
Christoph Zimmermann: 8
Bossed the Sheffield Wednesday forwards and was great with the ball at his feet.
Timm Klose: 7
Looked shaky at times after his knock, but did his job – no errors.
Jamal Lewis: 8
Defended well and got forward with ease, excellent display.
Alex Tettey: 6
Woeful first-half, but got better in the second under less pressure.
Mo Leitner: 8
Dictated the play from midfield, was a joy to watch.
Emi Buendia: 9
Was excellent, a constant threat on the ball and his took his goal brilliantly.
Mario Vrancic: 7
Dreadful penalty in the first-half, then made up for it with a great second-half showing – which included an assist for Srbeny’s goal.
Onel Hernandez: 7
Positive on the ball and always looked to get past his man. Will be disappointed not to have scored.
Teemu Pukki: 9
Worked hard all afternoon and scored twice, a terrific display from the striker.
Dennis Srbeny: 8
Marco Stiepermann: 6
Ben Godfrey: 6
