Norwich City agree Leitner deal

Norwich City have agreed a deal to sign Augsburg midfielder Moritz Leitner.

According to EDP journalist Michael Bailey, Norwich have ironed out a fee with Augsburg for the permanent signing of Leitner after his loan spell with the club last season.

There are no fees being reported as of yet, with Norwich likely to announce his arrival for an undisclosed fee.

The report claims that Leitner will travel to England to have his medical with Norwich on Monday, before his official unveiling.

The 25-year-old joined on loan from Augsburg in January last season, impressing in midfield – despite ending the season with a niggling injury.

Norwich sold James Maddison to Leicester for £21m earlier this week, with Leitner set to join as his replacement.
