Relegated Premier League outfit Stoke City aim to capture Angus Gunn on loan next season, as Jack Butland is expected to leave the potters and seek division 1 football.
Angus Gunn excelled in the Canaries Championship campaign this season, after being loaned out by Manchester City in June of last year.
The Canaries will look to re-capture Gunn on loan or possibly on a permanent move, however, they will face opposition from Stoke City and from the Premier League, report the Eastern Daily Press.
After his excellent campaign , the Championship may not be Gunn’s destination as Man City will plot Gunn’s development route, which, may lead the promising goalkeeper to the Premier League.
One Premier League club believed to be in the hunt for Gunn is Watford, who rotated their numver throughout the season after disappointing performances from both Heurelho Gomes and on-loan Udinese stopper Orestis Karnezis.
Man City are understood to want a relatively swift decision on where Gunn will play next season. Likewise, Norwich will have to be informed soon, as a replacement will have to be found as quickly as possible if he goes elsewhere.
