Barnsley 1-1 Norwich: Four things we learned

Norwich City were held to a 1-1 draw by Barnsley on Tuesday to extend their winless run to seven matches.

The Canaries have now drawn six of their last seven matches in the Championship, losing the other 4-3 to Hull.

Daniel Farke made some bold selection choices for the clash with Barnsley, with James Husband and Marley Watkins the most notable starters.

Watkins was a complete failure up front for Norwich, as Barnsley outclassed Norwich in the first-half. He showed no signs of quality or work-rate, with Dennis Srbeny watching on from the bench.

The opening goal for Barnsley then came from James Husband not closing down the winger, and failing to even attempt to block the cross, with Oliver McBurnie nipping in front of Zimmermann to score.

Josh Murphy levelled the scores in the second-half. He broke into the left-hand side of the box before rifling the ball into the roof of the net.

Here are four things we learned from the game…
