Norwich City bounced back from their home defeat to Sheffield United with a win over Brentford on Saturday.
The Canaries won their seventh away match of the season in the Championship as they beat Brentford 1-0.
Angus Gunn’s 11th league shutout of the season and James Maddison’s ninth strike secured all three points for Daniel Farke’s side.
Maddison handed the Norwich the lead when he picked up the ball from Christoph Zimmermann’s tackle before slipping the ball between Ryan Woods’ legs and firing a shot into the top corner from 25-yards.
Nelson Oliveira came close to doubling Norwich’s lead, hitting the post with a left-footed effort from distance.
Norwich then dug in and produced an excellent defensive performance, with Grant Hanley, Timm Klose and Zimmermann dominating at the back.
