Norwich player ratings: Cardiff (A)
Norwich City were left frustrated once again as they lost 3-1 to Cardiff in Wales on Friday night.
The Canaries are now eight games without a win in all competitions, despite taking the lead against the Bluebirds.
Marco Stiepermann handed Norwich the lead towards the end of the first-half when he drilled in a rasping effort from the edge of the box – his first for the club.
Cardiff then made a flying start to the second half as they were awarded a penalty within minutes of kick-off for an alleged push from a corner. Joe Ralls stepped up and slotted home with ease.
Junior Hoilet then put the home side ahead when his volley from just inside the box looped over Gunn and into the top corner.
There was then a manic few minutes as Gunn gave away and then saved a penalty, with the on-loan keeper staying down the middle and catching Ralls’ penalty.
Omar Bogle sealed the win for Cardiff late on, bundling the ball home after Vrancic lost the ball in midfield.
Here is how we rated the Canaries…
