Norwich City have had an odd transfer window this summer, for a number of reasons.
For once, the club have done their business early and made ten first-team additions to the squad with just under a week left to go in the window.
Previous transfer windows have been slow and unproductive, but not this year – with Norwich fans mostly happy with what has been done.
Another reason why it is a different window is that the prices of Norwich’s signings have been reduced drastically.
Since their promotion to the Premier League in 2011, Norwich have made a raft of big name signings for massive transfer fees – but this has been the first summer where they have stopped that.
The most expensive purchase of the summer has been Marcel Franke at £2.7m, but who have Norwich spent the most money on in their history?
Without further ado, here is Norwich’s most expensive ever XI…
