Leeds 3-3 Norwich: Rating the Canaries

Norwich City’s season was summed up in one game as they let a 3-0 lead slip in a 3-3 draw with Leeds.

The Canaries were 3-0 up by the 45th minute, but a gallant comeback from Leeds saw them claim a point.

However, that was not enough for Leeds, who are now effectively out of play-off contention coming into the final game.

Norwich took the lead in the 28th minute. Steven Naismith brilliantly scoring from distance to hand the away side the league.

A brace from Nelson Oliveira in the space of nine minutes then put Norwich into a comfortable 3-0 position.

Chris Wood pulled one back just seconds after Oliveira’s second, though, to give the home side some hope.

Kyle Bartley prodded home from close range early in the second half to tee up an entertaining end to the game, with Pablo Hernandez netting a free-kick to complete the revival.

Norwich’s performance was also marred by a late red card to Steven Naismith for a mistimed tackle.

Here is how we rated the Canaries…
