Norwich picked up a point at Carrow Road today as they were held by struggling Blackburn Rovers.
Alan Irvine came into the game as manager of the club following the sacking of Alex Neil, but he was unable to claim all three points in his first game.
Blackburn were able to hold Norwich to a 2-2 draw in a match that was fiercely contested and lacking in quality.
It was Norwich who took the lead in the 19th minute. Cameron Jerome was able to pounce three-yards out after Josh Murphy swiped the ball across goal.
However, just two minutes later Norwich found themselves down to ten men. Mitchell Dijks was sent off for a horrible lunging tackle on Marvin Emnes.
Blackburn spun it round in the second half, though, as Lucas Joao scored twice in five minutes to put the away side in front.
Jerome rescued a point in the 81st minute when he bundled the ball home from a Murphy cross, Jacob this time.
