Our player of the month: February

Norwich endured a frustrating February with only two wins throughout the month.

The Canaries played six matches during February with two wins, three draws and one defeat.

Alex Neil’s men beat Cardiff and Nottingham Forest, were held by Wigan, Newcastle and Ipswich as well as losing to Burton Albion.

As you may, or may not, know we hand out a Read Norwich player of the month award at the end of each month and it is time for that now.

This has, perhaps, been the most clear-cut call of the season so far. The winner won man of the match in four of the six matches and could easily have won all six.

So, our player of the month award for February goes to Mitchell Dijks!

The Dutchman was man of the match against Cardiff, Wigan, Burton and Newcastle this month, and was close to winning it against Ipswich.

Dijks joined on-loan from Ajax at the end of January and has been incredible in his first six matches for the club.

He has taken to England like a duck to water, with his pace, power and agility down the left-side.
