Should McGovern be dropped against QPR?

Norwich City travel away to face QPR this weekend and could face a goalkeeping dilemma.

Alex Neil will have a big call to make when it comes to selecting his man between the sticks against QPR.

Michael McGovern has been Neil’s first choice for the last 15 Championship matches, after taking over from John Ruddy against Sheffield Wednesday on the second game week.

McGovern has kept two cleans sheets and made 39 saves in his 15 matches, impressing in a number of matches to help boost Norwich’s top-six position.

However, big mistakes against Brighton and Leeds have placed his slot in the team under threat.

Many Norwich supporters are calling for John Ruddy to come back into the side, having only played four matches in all competitions this season.

Ruddy made an error on the opening day against Blackburn and then went off injured against Sheffield Wednesday in the second match, failing to win his place back since.

The Englishman was displaced by Declan Rudd last season after a run of poor performances and does not look to have improved since – with a crucial error against Leeds in the EFL Cup this season proving costly.

But would you drop McGovern and bring in Ruddy?
