Norwich City fans have begun to rue the club’s decision to send Declan Rudd on loan in the summer.
Alex Neil made the call to send Rudd out to Charlton on loan for the season, instead of giving him the chance to earn his place in the side for Norwich.
Rudd displaced John Ruddy in the Premier League last season for the Canaries and impressed in December. Rudd won Norwich’s player of the month after a string of fine displays.

However, he was dropped after a couple of errors against Aston Villa and Ruddy came back in – leading to Norwich’s eventual relegation from the top-flight.
Michael McGovern was signed in the summer to replace Ruddy but he has been in poor form this season and looks to be dropped ahead of this weekend’s clash with Leeds.
With Ruddy also underperforming when given the opportunity and McGovern failing to impress, were Norwich right to send Rudd out on loan?
Well, when we asked the question, Norwich fans have had their say.
74% of voters said that sending Rudd out on loan was a mistake, with just 26% thinking it was a good call by the club.
Ruddy is likely to be given another chance to earn his place back against Leeds this week, but it could be his last chance in a Norwich shirt. January looks set to be another big window for Norwich…
