8 things that have happened since Ipswich last beat Norwich

Ipswich last defeated Norwich in April 2009, taking a 3-2 victory at Portman Road. However, it has now been seven years and eight matches since Ipswich Town last took a derby victory. In that time much has happened and changed in the world and in this article, we will explore eight things that have happened since Ipswich could last rightfully call themselves the ‘Pride of Anglia’.

Norwich began their run with a 4-1 victory over Ipswich in 2010, when Grant Hot famously scored a hat-trick, forever cementing his place in Canary history. Norwich continued this run in the reverse fixture, dispatching Ipswich 5-1 at Portman Road. Following their relegation from the Premier League, Norwich won three and drew one of the four derbies played over the 2014/15 season. After a second relegation, Norwich held Ipswich to a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
