Norwich City have been relegated back down to the Championship for the second time in three seasons this year.
The Canaries finished 19th in the Premier League, a year after beating Middlesbrough in the Championship Play-Off final at Wembley. Alex Neil managed to get Norwich promoted after joining in January 2015, but he couldn’t complete the job and stay in the top-flight.
The season came down to a number of mistakes. The board didn’t invest anywhere near enough in the squad over the summer, the manager made far too many mistakes and the players didn’t show enough fight or quality throughout the season.
All of these were contributing factors to the relegation, but it does boil down to the player on the pitch who are most responsible for the relegation. So, I have rated each of them out of ten for their whole season. I have rated every player who has played at least ten matches this season for Norwich and is still at the club…
