We ran a duel on this site to see who you thought was most deserving of Norwich’s player of the season award.
Timm Klose won our Read Norwich player of the season award as he won the most man of the match awards throughout the season. Jonny Howson won Norwich’s official player of the season, as he was presented with the Barry Butler memorial trophy on Wednesday.
But, who did our readers vote for?
In third place was… Robbie Brady. The Irishman won 75% of his duels in the voting. He joined from Hull last summer and was a consistent force in midfield and defence this season.
So, the runner-up for the fans choice was… Timm Klose. The big Swiss defender won 81% of his duels in the voting. Klose joined from Wolfsburg in January and was immense in his matches for the club before getting injured against Crystal Palace.
And, our fans choice for Norwich City player of the year 2015/16 is… drum roll please… Jonny Howson!
It comes as no surprise given his consistent performances in Norwich’s midfield all season. Howson won an incredible 94% of his duels in the voting to be named the outright winner of the award.
Howson has been one of the few players to show Premier League class this season and the club will have to do anything they can to keep him at the club this summer.
