Norwich lost 1-0 to Manchester United at Carrow Road today to all but seal their relegation to the Championship.
If Sunderland avoid defeat against Everton and Norwich fail to beat Watford on Wednesday then Norwich will be officially relegated from the Premier League for the second time in three seasons.
Norwich started fairly well and had a good opening ten minutes but Cameron Jerome missed an absolute sitter, heading straight at David De Gea from close range with all the time in the world. Manchester United then went on to control the game and eventually Juan Mata scored the winner in the second half.

There weren’t many Norwich players to come away with any respect at all from the game. Nathan Redmond, Russell Martin and Jonny Howson all had decent games, but not great. However, I have gone for Ivo Pinto as my man of the match.
Pinto was the only member of the back four who didn’t muck up for Mata’s goal and was solid down the right all game. He won a number of headers and tackles and kept Memphis Depay fairly quiet all game.
The fact that he just dropped to the floor and laid on his back at the end of the game typified his performance, he didn’t stop working. Him and Redmond were the only ones who looked visibly distraught after the match, showing just how much fight and passion we actually have in our side…
