Following Norwich’s dreadful 3-0 defeat against an in-form Tottenham Hotspur, we award Read Norwich’s man of the match to debutante Timm Klose.
He was strong in the tackle, composed on the ball and won a fair share of headers as he replaced the inconsistent Russell Martin in the heart of Norwich’s defence.
Norwich never really got going and the game got off to the worst possible start for the Canaries when promising England international Dele Alli scored inside the opening two minutes. Ex loanee, Harry Kane then converted a penalty as Spurs doubled their advantage before Kane scored his second in stoppage time.
Norwich were terrible all over the pitch but at least Klose had a promising debut and showed flashes of why Norwich spent over £9 million on his services in the transfer window. The Swiss international will hope that this weekend’s game against Aston Villa will be much more fruitful as he settles into life in Norfolk.
