Norwich target Palace midfielder
Norwich are reported to be eyeing a move for Crystal Palace captain Mile Jedinak as Alex Neil aims to make another signing before the transfer window slams shut on Monday night. Norwich will be facing competition from Sunderland for the Australian who has been an clinical performer for Palace this season as they continue to enjoy life in the top half of the Premier League table.
The 31-year-old midfielder has struggled for a place in the Palace starting eleven this season, having made just three starts and a further ten appearances from the bench in the Premier League. A switch to Carrow Road with the lure of a regular place in the starting line-up could tempt Jedinak to move to Norfolk.
The experienced player would help to strengthen a Norwich side that has conceded 14 goals in their last four games during a period of poor form. Alex Neil has been particularly busy during the January transfer window and should Jedinak sign he would become the sixth new Canary after Matt Jarvis, Ivo Pinto, Ben Godfrey, Timm Klose and Steven Naismith all joined Norwich.
