Norwich set to miss out on Doumbia

According to the Daily Star, Norwich City, Swansea, Leicester, and Crystal Palace target, Seydou Doumbia is considering an offer from China as his future at Italian side, A.S Roma remains unclear.

The Ivory Coast international has recently returned from a loan at Russian side, CSKA Moscow and Shanghai and Jiangsu are both believed to be looking at the forward who has generated much interest from the Premier League.

A £10-million valuation has been slapped on Doumbia who has found the net five times in 13 games for CSKA this season and two times in 13 games for Roma in the Serie A.

Doumbia started his career in Japan at Kashiwa Reysol, before moving on to Tokushima Vortis, and Swiss side, BSC Young Boys.

He joined CSKA Moscow originally in 2010, but left for Roma in 2015, only to return to Russia months later on loan after an uninspiring spell in the Italian capital.

The 28-year old has appeared for his nation 33 times – scoring five times.
