Grabban doesn’t want Evans reunion

According to the Yorkshire Evening Press, striker Lewis Grabban isn’t keen to reunite with old boss Steve Evans at Leeds United.

Grabban is reportedly unsure about moving back up north, having played in the south for the majority of his career, playing for clubs such as Crystal Palace, Millwall, Brentford and Bournemouth. He did have a spell at Rotherham under Evans, with the striker notching 18 goals in 43 appearances in Yorkshire.

Leeds boss Steve Evans is apparently after additions for his strike force, with Kyle Lafferty also being linked with a move to Elland Road.

Grabban is out of favour at Carrow Road, with Cameron Jerome and Dienmerci Mbokani being Alex Neil’s preferred strikers. There was talk in the summer of a potential switch to former club Bournemouth. However, this never materialized, and saw the 27-year-old infamously walk out of the team hotel at the cup tie against Rotherham.
