Opposition Q&A: What to expect from West Brom

Do you think Tony Pulis should field a full strength side?

I’d like to see changes. Our league form is much more important but it also gives a good chance to assess some of the fringe and youth players. The likes of Sessegnon and Gnabry have struggled to get game time this season so it would be nice to see them feature in the match.

Who should Norwich be wary of?

If he plays, Serge Gnabry. The on-loan winger has impressed whenever he has played this season and can create something out of nothing. He’s lightning quick and has an eye for a pass. Callum McManaman could also cause trouble.

Which Norwich player do you fear the most?

Nathan Redmond. I’ve always admired his quality and would have loved Albion to try sign him this summer. He’s quick, direct and isn’t scared to take his man on. Something Albion have lacked the last couple of seasons.

Do WBA fans want a cup run?

I think fans would rather sort the league form out first, but a cup run would be nice, even if it’s just a quarter or semi final.

Predicted XI?

Rose, Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Pocognoli, Gnabry, Gardner, Yacob, McManaman, Anichebe, Lambert.

Port Vale took Albion to pens, could it go all the way this time?

I think there’s a high possibility. Both sides look very even and Tony Pulis has said he will be making changes to the squad.

How have WBA fans reacted to losing Mulumbu and Dorrans to Norwich?

Alex Livesey/Getty Images Sport

While they were both great servants to the squad it was the right time for them to leave. They weren’t in Tony Pulis’ plans and players of their quality should be playing in week in week out.

Score Prediction?

Norwich 1 (Redmond) – West Brom 1 (Gnabry). West Brom win, 5-4 on penalties.
