Norwich 1-2 Sheffield United: Player Ratings

Rival fans singing together and VAR controversy grabbed the headlines as Norwich City lost to Sheffield United after a second-half capitulation.

The Blades came out as the better team and it looked like the game was unfolding as we all expected to.

United’s early dominance didn’t last long though and the Canaries were on top for the rest of the first-half.

They got the goal they merited through the unlikely source of Alex Tettey after Sheffield United failed to clear and it sat perfectly for the Norwegian, who smashed past Henderson.

In truth, the Canaries could have had more and, ultimately, not scoring when on top cost Norwich, which is becoming a regular occurrence.

Two quick-fire goals early in the second from Sheffield United was enough as their impressive run of away games without a loss stretches to 17.

If the player ratings were done at half-time, the ratings would be mainly sevens, eights and nines but after the second-half, it’s going to be lower.

Here are our player ratings…
