Norwich showing interest in Montenegro
Norwich are reportedly interested in Olimpia Asuncion forward Brian Montenegro ahead of the January transfer window.
According to Tutto Mercato, via Sport Witness, Norwich, SPAL, Brescia and Brighton are all showing an interest in the striker.
He has scored 10 and assisted seven for Olimpia from only 12 starts this year, although he has been brought off the bench a further 16 times.

Montenegro previously failed at West Ham and Leeds in England, but Norwich have been excellent at picking out players who have not fulfilled their potential and making them key players. The 26-year-old forward could be next for the Canaries, especially with Josip Drmic struggling with injuries this season.
Dennis Srbeny is currently the only back-up to Teemu Pukki and the German has only scored three league goals since signing for the club almost two years ago. Srbeny did score against Everton last month, but has not done enough in his Norwich career so far to suggest that he is a viable long-term alternative to Pukki in the number nine position.
Signing Montenegro in January to bolster the squad could be good business from Norwich. They could also be planning for a possible relegation by signing players who would be willing to stick around if Daniel Farke’s side fail to avoid the drop.
