Dortmund considering move for Farke

Norwich head coach Daniel Farke is reportedly being considered as a replacement for Lucien Favre at Borussia Dortmund.

According to Kicker, via Ronan Murphy, Dortmund see him as a possible option to take over if Favre departs in the coming weeks.

Dortmund are currently sixth in the Bundesliga and five points off the top of the table, with the board seemingly considering a change in manager.

You could hardly begrudge Farke for making the move if Dortmund did come in with a move for him in the coming weeks or months to replace Favre. They are one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and certainly in Germany, and have some terrific talent in their squad – Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus, Mats Hummels. Not only that, but Farke came through the coaching ranks at Dortmund and will already know the club inside and out.

With Norwich in the bottom three in the Premier League and lacking the funds to fully back him in the transfer window – spending the least in the entire division last summer – he could be tempted by the prospect of making the step up. However, hopefully Dortmund look elsewhere and Norwich can keep hold of their German boss!
