Norwich and West Ham are reportedly set to battle it out for Domogoj Vida’s signature in the January transfer window.
According to Turkish outlet Takvim, via Sport Witness, both clubs are keen on a deal for Vida as they look to strengthen at the back.
The report claims that West Ham and Norwich are preparing offers for Vida, with Besiktas open to selling him as they look to raise funds for their own transfer moves.
READ NORWICH VERDICT

Given that signing Vida would almost go against everything Stuart Webber has said leading up to the January window, it is strange that he has been continuously linked to Norwich. Vida has been touted with a switch to Carrow Road several times since the summer and the rumours are not dying down.
That being said, it would still be very surprising to see the Croatian international end up at Carrow Road in January, especially if the interest from West Ham is genuine. They are an established Premier League club and capable of spending £20m+ on players, as shown by Sebastien Haller, Felipe Anderson and Pablo Fornals in recent windows.
There is no doubting that Norwich need a centre-back, after keeping one clean sheet in 13 games, but Vida is, perhaps, out of their range at this moment in time.
