These Norwich fans react to Byram’s performance against Manchester City
Norwich City, incredibly, beat Premier League champions Manchester City 3-2 at Carrow Road on Saturday.
Kenny McLean, Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki scored the goals as Norwich became the first side since January to defeat Pep Guardiola’s side in the league.
One player who caught the eye after coming in for the injured Max Aarons was summer signing Sam Byram.
These Norwich fans reacted to his performance…

After Max Aarons’ injury whilst playing for England’s under-21 side, you could forgive fans for being worried ahead of their clash with Manchester City.
However, Byram stepped up and produced a superb defensive display to keep England international Raheem Sterling quiet on the left.
Byram’s constant blocks and tackles forced Sterling to switch flanks, although he also struggled to get past Todd Cantwell and Jamal Lewis over on the other side. Regardless, Sterling switching positions due to Byram is possibly the biggest compliment he could receive – due to the winger’s incredible form for club and country.
The former West Ham man, Byram, will now be hoping to continue his form against Burnley and look to nail down his place in the side before Aarons returns from injury.
