Norwich 3-2 Manchester City: Four things learned

Norwich City shocked football fans across the world as they beat reigning Premier League champions Manchester City 3-2 at Carrow Road. 

The Canaries showed strength and bravery against last season’s title winners, grinding out a shock result despite their ridiculously long injury list (Aarons, Klose, Zimmerman, Trybull, Hernandez, Leitner and Vrancic all unable to play). 

The Canaries defied all odds thanks to goals from Kenny McLean, Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki. 

McLean gave Norwich the lead on 19 minutes with a bullet header into the top corner beyond City star Ederson. The hosts doubled their lead thanks to Dereham-born Todd Cantwell tapping the ball in from close range. Guardiola’s side got a goal back but were not up to their usual standards as Teemu Pukki continued his fine form by finding the back of the net again.
