Norwich face Chelsea in their second game at Carrow Road in the space of a week as they host Frank Lampard’s side in the early kick-off game on Saturday.
Norwich fans will be going into the game full of confidence after two promising performances since their return to the Premier League. Despite losing 4-1 to European champions Liverpool, the Canaries were constantly on the attack and bossed the game in the second half.
Against Newcastle, however, Norwich were victorious in a 3-1 thrashing in front of the Carrow Road crowd, where City got their first win on the board, putting them in 11th position going into this weekend’s fixtures.
Chelsea however, are struggling to kick-off so far this campaign under Frank Lampard, with his side sitting in 15th place, below Norwich, after two games. a 4-0 loss to Manchester United followed by a 1-1 draw against Leicester leaves Chelsea fans’ spirits being left a little dampened, however, they will go into the game with the hope their side can get their first win with Lampard at the helm.

Ben Godfrey v Tammy Abraham

Norwich’s defence will have a tough time against Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount and Tom Trybull will have to keep an eye on the youngster, who scored his side’s first goal of the new campaign last weekend.

Moritz Leitner put in a fantastic shift against Newcastle and will be hoping to get the space to be able to create chances and dominate possession from central midfield.
