These Norwich fans react to Pukki challenge in Newcastle clash

Norwich City picked up their first three points of the season on Saturday with a convincing 3-1 win over Newcastle at Carrow Road.

Teemu Pukki stole the headlines with an eye-catching hat-trick, with one of his goals being a superb volley in the first-half.

However, one defensive moment from the Finnish forward has been causing a stir on social media this week.

Pukki tracked back into his own half to make a tackle after Grant Hanley’s mistake appeared to set Joelinton through on goal.

These fans reacted to the challenge on Twitter…

Baller!

Give Pukki the keys to the city!

The GOAT!

Kevin enjoyed it!

Rob thinks he is the complete player!

Insane work ethic!

READ NORWICH VERDICT

Attacking and defending? Get yourself a striker who can do both!

Pukki scored a hat-trick and made a terrific tackle after sprinting the length of the pitch as Newcastle tried to counter. If that doesn’t make him the most complete player at the club, what would?

The forward has the work rate of a Cameron Jerome, but also adds the technical quality of a Nelson Oliveira and the finishing ability of a Grant Holt. There is not a single striker outside the top six that I would swap for Pukki at Norwich at this moment in time.
