Amadou posts transfer hint amid Norwich links – the club’s final signing?

Sevilla midfielder Ibrahim Amadou has posted a picture of himself traveling on a plane, amid strong links to Norwich.

Amadou uploaded an image to his Instagram story of him on a plane, on the same day that he also thanked Sevilla teammate Roque Mesa for wishing him well on his next adventure.

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a loan move to Norwich, with Estadio Deportivo claiming that he is on his way to Norfolk to sign for the club on Tuesday.

Will he be Norwich’s last signing of the transfer window?

Not if reports are to be believed. Football Insider claimed on Monday night that Norwich are preparing an offer to sign Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes on a permanent deal.

Rhodes spent last season on loan to Norwich from Wednesday, scoring six Championship goals for Daniel Farke’s side.

Should Norwich be bringing him in? Yes. If the club can agree a reasonable deal for the Scottish forward, he would be a good addition to the current squad.

He spent last season on loan to the club, so he already knows the core group of players and would need no time to settle in, as opposed to any new signing who has never been to Norfolk, or even England.

It will now be very interesting to watch how the final few days of the transfer window play out, with the deadline being 5pm on Thursday.
