Norwich City have officially confirmed that defender James Husband has signed for Blackpool on a season-long loan.

Husband reportedly completed a medical on Friday, with the deal then being swiftly confirmed by both clubs.
The left-back has just one year left on his contract at Norwich and is poised to become a free agent at the end of next season, which would then allow Blackpool to sign him on a free transfer – if they want to.

He joined Norwich from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2017 but was never able to nail down a place in the side over the last two years. The likes of Ivo Pinto, Jamal Lewis and Marco Stiepermann have all kept him out of the team at left-back during his time in Norfolk.
Along with Husband leaving on loan, the club have revealed that young midfielder Reece McAlear has joined from Motherwell.
