Norwich approach Chelsea over deal to sign Palmer
Norwich City have approached Chelsea over a deal to sign talented attacking midfielder Kasey Palmer this summer.
According to Football Insider, Norwich are keen on the midfielder and are already in contact with the Europa League winners.
The report claims that Chelsea are demanding £4m for Palmer to leave on a permanent deal, although it remains unclear as to whether or not Norwich would be willing to meet their demands.
Palmer spent the first-half of last season on loan to Blackburn, before joining Bristol City for the final few months of the campaign.
Football Insider claim that Bristol City wanted to sign Palmer again this summer, but a move has stalled and Norwich have now swooped in and stolen a march on the Championship side.
Palmer is a product of the Chelsea youth academy and is currently involved in their pre-season tour – playing against Irish side Bohemians earlier this month for Frank Lampard’s side.
