Telstar agree loan deal for Charlie Gilmour

Dutch club SC Telstar have confirmed an agreement has been reached with Norwich City for new signing Charlie Gilmour to join the club on a season-long loan this summer.

Gilmour arrived at Carrow Road on a free transfer this summer following his release from boyhood club Arsenal and looks set to be immediately shipped out to gain crucial first team experience.

Telstar tweeted the news on Friday afternoon and was received well by supporters of both clubs:

The Eerste Divisie outfit, managed by Mike Snoei, confirmed that the move will be announced in the coming days once all the paperwork is completed and the player seems happy to play in the Netherlands during the 2019-20 campaign.

He’s already played in European competition for Arsenal, featuring in the Europa League against Vorskla Poltava in 2018 and will only continue to develop.
